Get Involved:

 • Evening Open Mic: Share your voice or enjoy performances by others in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Sunday, November 17: Poetry Brunch and Readings

 • Lazy Brunch: Start your day with a light brunch included in the ticket price.
 • Full Day of Poetry and Spoken Word: featuring rising local poets, students and established voices, each followed by Q&A sessions and opportunities to connect with the artists.
 • All-Star Evening of Poetry and Spoken Word: featuring nationally acclaimed poets.

Festival Mission:

Oxford Di-Verse Poetry Festival is dedicated to exploring intersectionality, solidarity, cooperation, and organization among marginalized and oppressed groups through the medium of poetry and spoken word.

The festival emerged from the collective grief of Oxford University transgender students and allies at the 2023 Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil, following the tragic loss of Ezra Jackson. The festival is a tribute and legacy to Ezra, and dedicated to him.

This inaugural festival aims to celebrate and platform the diverse voices of minority, marginalized, and silenced communities.

Join us in celebrating the rich tapestry of voices that make up our diverse community.
