All Ages
Owen Quincy is a musician based in San Francisco. He began studying opera in college, spending his summers performing in opera houses in Italy. Despite his admiration for the art form, he found his love was in my connection with an audience, so he walked away, embracing folk and alternative music and is now beginning to perform around the American West.
This is when he wrote Lyre Man, his Schubert inspired concept record which came out in October 2025. It is rich in poetry and leitmotifs but each and every song is able to stand on its own two feet, and is quite fun to listen to.

Black Hole Harvest (Douglas Guilbeault) is a bay area multi-instrumentalist who writes and performs music from a place that celebrates, honors, and meditates on the creative energies that animate the universe. The image of the black hole harvest speaks to humanity’s current superposition between dystopia and utopia. Some say we will need to one day harvest energy from black holes to power the future hybrid human-AI society. What does it say about us that our survival depends on extracting energy from the purest form of destruction in the universe? To power our information hungry machines, will we depend on the very limits of physics at which all information is destroyed? Black hole harvest creates music at the intersection of creation and destruction, inspired by the concept of the event horizon where all genres and concepts, order and disorder, past and future, are suspended and coexist, on the verge of dissipating into nothingness.
