In this session, Rob walks through how he was compromised by a credential-stealing campaign believed to be linked to a Chinese threat actor, the mistakes that led to the compromise, how the attack worked behind the scenes, and the steps he took to investigate, contain, and recover from it. Attendees will leave with practical lessons on browser security, credential theft, and how even cybersecurity practitioners can become victims.

Presenter Bio: Rob is a CompTIA Security+ certified IT and cybersecurity professional with over three years of IT support experience and a passion for blue team operations, threat detection, and security awareness. His hands-on experience includes security operations, digital forensics, Windows Server administration, Active Directory, phishing analysis, and incident response through both professional and lab environments. Rob enjoys sharing real-world security incidents and translating technical attacks into practical lessons that help others better protect themselves.
