SoulCollage® is a creative process rooted in Jungian principles promoting self-awareness and access to inner wisdom. “The Therapeutic Powers of Play” (Drewes & Schaefer, 2014) are inherent in this process. This two-hour workshop will invite participants to explore their personal symbolic world and access the resources of their Inner Playful Child for their work as Play Therapists.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will use one or more images to represent themselves.
- Participants will use an image and the “I am one who…” exercise to describe an aspect of their personality that can be helpful to their identity as a therapist (Playful Inner Child).
- Participants will identify the “Therapeutic powers of play” that are accessed via SoulCollage®.
- Participants will demonstrate familiarity with SoulCollage® history, theory and community resources.
