As part of this exhibition, we invite our visitors to contribute to our community altar, a shared space that honors the people, stories, and experiences that shape Overtown.

We encourage you to bring a small, meaningful item, photograph, note, or memento that represents a loved one, a cherished childhood memory, an important life experience, or something you wish to commemorate.

Participation is entirely optional, but we welcome everyone to contribute an item that represents a loved one to honor them and the interconnectedness of Overtown and the diaspora.
