Overtones with Sindhu Pillai in the Augusta & Co. Gallery next year! Mark your calendars for a showing of her beautiful work in the first quarter of 2025 with a reception on First Friday, February 7th from 4-7:00 p.m.
Sindhu Pillai is interested in exploring the balance between fragility and strength, often expressed through moments of stillness and unexpected connections. Growing up in India and immigrating to the United States, Sindhu unfolds a part of her personal story in each painting, shaped by experiences that inform her unique perspective. Her juried works are featured in Augusta University’s Sand Hill Literary Magazine in 2024, the 29th Juried Show at the Belton Center for Arts, 2024, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society’s Luminous Landscapes 2024, and the Art League of Hilton Head Biennale 2023. She has also displayed her work at the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
