OVERMORROW by Lancelot Schaubert
The novelist, graphic novelist, songwriter, and filmmaker Lancelot Schaubert returns to the stage with OVERMORROW. Overmorrow is a dark, New York Narnia-style fantasy all wrapped around a mystery plot. At the end of Overmorrow, we'll not only learn what it means to have joy and wonder. We'll learn what it means to experience theater — any theater — at all.
THE STORY: Young Ellie visits her uncle in NYC and is soaked in the rain of awakening, but as she meets magical creatures, she discovers one of them is trying to restrict the number of people who wake to wonder. Who? Why? The journey will take her on a crash course with cynicism and everything the skeptics love to hate.
Doors open at 6:30pm and show begins promptly at 7:00pm. Event is free, but seating is limited. Following the live performance will be a talkback with the playwright, director and cast with the audience.
