Overdue Good NFP Minute Clinic~ 6 week Hair Braiding Course
About this Event
We’re adding a spin to our Minute Clinic! Participants will have the opportunity to participate in OGU version of Shark Tank. Students will present their business model and have the opportunity to win $200 (1st place), $75 (2nd place), $25 (3rd place) towards their future success.
We are now booking students for our summer hair braiding classes. This class is for EVERYONE! We’re looking to service youth from 7-14 first and other ages after. We will be teaching braiding techniques, business development and financial literacy. This program will run June 17th- July 29th 10:30- 11:30( students are allowed to come in at 9:30 for breakfast and setup).
The cost for the class is $25 per session weekly. Each student will receive a mannequin head with styling tools, use of tablets, light refreshments provided.
Students are allowed free time until 1 pm pick up.
