Overdrive is a high-energy bluegrass band from North Carolina. Formed in 2024 from a collection of music-loving bluegrass aficionados who met at the Brewer's Kettle in Kernersville, NC, their complex and dynamic sound fuses killer musicianship and tight vocal harmonies with a wide variety of songs and instrumentals. The band features Glen Alexander (fiddle), Ben Hill (mandolin), Mark Hudson (guitar, vocals), Ryan Lambert (guitar, vocals), Jeff Rumsey (bass), and Mark Wallace (banjo, vocals). Overdrive constantly reinvents bluegrass, always looking to put a unique spin on its music yet simultaneously acknowledging the old-school foundations of bluegrass. Each member brings an individual style which translates into a hard-driving, entertaining, and vibrant show!
