Over The Edge® is an adventurous urban rappelling fundraiser hosted by the Associate Board of Make-A-Wish Illinois.Participants raise money for the chance to rappel over the edge of the 36-story Hyatt Regency Chicago.
This event is all-inclusive: persons with disabilities are able and encouraged to participate. To qualify as a rappeler, you must raise a minimum of $1,500 to secure your spot. With less than 100 rappel spots available, we suggest registering early to start fundraising. Spots are reserved on a first come, first serve basis (once you hit your $1,500 goal).
By participating and fundraising, you help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children in our community who are battling life-threatening medical conditions. A wish has the power to not only provide a child with transformational joy as they face a critical illness, but it can even lead to better health outcomes and improved odds of overcoming an illness.
