Over 40 and Fabulous Photography Exhibition

As boudoir photographers, we talk to so many women that say they don’t remember what it’s like being seen as a beautiful women instead of (or at least in addition to) a Mom or Grandma. Who have felt parts of themselves diminish over the years, and they miss those parts.

We want women to fall in love with themselves, and help change the way the world looks at aging and beauty. Our society is only slowly recognizing that beauty and sensuality don’t end with youth.

This project is all about continuing to push that recognition, to show women over 40 for the powerful, beautiful, successful, sensual individuals that they are.

From January through June of this year, we have had 30 women come in for photoshoots specifically to take part in this exhibition. To demonstrate, in the most direct way possible, that women over 40 haven't lost their beauty, and are in fact often more confident and comfortable about their bodies than ever before in their lives.

These are their images, and their stories.

Net proceeds of the ticket sales will go to Bay Area Turning Point, a non-profit organization that provides immediate crisis intervention and wrap-around recovery services to individuals impacted directly and indirectly by domestic violence and sexual assault, which includes stalking and human trafficking.

Doors open at start time, but this is a come-and-go event.
