Join us for a special evening of music celebrating over 30 years of the Music Instrument Fund of Ireland, an organisation that has helped some of Ireland's most talented young string players access exceptional instruments and develop their musical careers.
Hear past and present MIFI recipients perform alongside distinguished guest musicians in the beautiful Whyte Recital Hall at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
The concert celebrates the vision of the late Professor Ronald Masin, whose belief in the potential of young Irish musicians led to the creation of MIFI more than three decades ago.

Mozart • Brahms • Borodin • Mendelssohn • John Kinsella
Featuring Elegy for Strings by John Kinsella, with performance materials kindly sourced from the Contemporary Music Centre, celebrating 40 Years Supporting New Music from Ireland.

An evening of outstanding live classical music featuring musicians whose careers have been supported by MIFI, in the intimate setting of the Whyte Recital Hall.
