outtaSPEC! feat. Terminal 11 / Nullsleep / Polymyth / Deadski
About this Event
Saturday 10/24 outtaSPEC! returns to Brick Box Brewery with a special one – four back to back sets of live electronics including performances from Terminal 11 and Polymyth visiting from PHX. Expect a night of underground, leftfield, and boundary-pushing electronic music.
We’re creating a home for the outsiders, the dancers, the selectors, the hardware heads, and anyone looking for something a little different. Bringing an oldschool perspective that breaks down hierarchies and centers the music for a new generation.
No formulas. No limits. Just sound, energy, and community.

TERMINAL 11 is the experimental electronic music and
video art project of Phoenix based artist and Arizona native Michael Castañeda. Originating in 1999 as an idea for an art piece, Terminal 11 has grown into a maximalist exploration of sound design, field recording, electronic composition and video art.
NULLSLEEP employs obsolete hardware and a DIY ethos to produce lo-tek hi-nrg music – mutating and intersecting jungle, footwork, acid, chiptune, and gabber. He is the founder of 8bitpeoples, a netlabel focused on music made with early computers and videogame consoles in a deliberate rejection of planned obsolescence.
POLYMYTH is Phoenix based multi-instrumentalist Lorne Mills, who began his foray into electronic music in the early 2000s as a means of arranging songs meant for would-be rock bands. As someone with an incessant need to create (and to do so with a more vast palette), it wouldn’t be long before a sincere solo project began to feel inevitable. The earliest incarnation of this ongoing project was Cable Car Crash, and has since evolved into Polymyth.
DEADSKI is a Tucson-born Mexican musician and producer blending electronic music, breaks, bass, hip hop, Latin rhythms, and sounds pulled from memories. Somewhere between a jungle record and taking acid at the swap meet.
