Outstanding Author Series - Jason Lancour

Jason is an Epic Fantasy author with two published titles and founder of Wandering Bear Creative. His works include Rise of the Red Hand (2021) and Storm Cloud Rising, the first in a multi-volume series, with Storm Cloud Breaks coming this spring.

A member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, Jason is also a frequent contributor to Shepherd.com. Storm Cloud Rising earned the Book Life Editor’s Pick award.

With 20 years in Film and TV, he has worked on Stranger Things, A24’s Civil War, and a Christy Martin biopic starring Sidney Sweeney, bringing a cinematic sensibility to his writing.

At this event, Jason will present "Narrative Fiction: Building a Story," covering the journey from idea to finished story. He’ll share key story-building techniques and insights from his own process to help writers develop their own creative toolkit.
