Are you ready to push your limits, test your strength, and have fun while doing it? The 2024 OUTSIDERS OCTAFIT CHAMPS is the ultimate fitness event designed for everyone, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey!
OCTAFIT CHAMPS R600 per Team
Age 16 & Up
Teams of Two
M/M F/F M/F
Categories:
1. Pro Teams: Compete for the best time with strict judging, heavier weights, and enforced movement standards. Typically, more experienced or competitive athletes.
2. Just for Fun Teams: Complete the workout with lighter weights (or no weights), and judged (counted) reps, but the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. Open to everyone with reasonable fitness.

- 50 Reps Dumbbell Thrusters (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 50 Reps Hand Release Push-Ups (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 160m Farmers Carry (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 80m Burpee Broad Jumps (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 80m Sandbag Walking Lunges (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 50 Reps Slam Balls (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 300 Reps Skipping (shared between teammates) *
- Run 250m (teams run together)
- 50 Reps Squat Ball Throws (shared between teammates) *
- 250m Run (teams run together)
* One teammate can decide to do all the reps

- Thrusters [M/M: 7kg] [F/F: 5kg] [PRO: Squat to Parallel]
- Hand Release Push-Ups [PRO: Full Extension into Plank] [FUN: Can Stay on Knees] [Chest to Floor Release Hands]
- Farmers Carry [M/M: 2 x 20kg] [F/F: 2 x 10kg]
- Burpee Broad Jumps [PRO: Chest to Floor] [FUN: Half Burpee (Kickback) Allowed]
- Sandbag Walking Lunges [M/M: 15kg] [F/F: 10kg] [PRO: Knee to Floor] [No Floating]
- Slam Balls [M/M: 10kg] [F/F: 8kg] [PRO: Full Extension Overhead]
- Skipping [Single Unders]
- Squat Ball Throws [M/M: 7kg] [F/F: 5kg] [PRO: Squat to Parallel]
• M/F teams: If you enter the Pro category, you will use the men's weights. If you enter the "Just for Fun" category, you will use the female weights.
• M/M teams and F/F teams will use the standard weights for their respective categories.

OCTAFIT JUNIORS R300 per Team

ONLY 20 Junior Team Entries Available
OCTAFIT JUNIOR WORKOUT (Lighter Weights)
• Complete a predetermined number of reps of each movement, "You Go, I Go" style
• 150m run between each movement (both teammates run together)
Movements:
• Reverse Lunges
• Push-Ups
• Slam Balls
• Skips
• Squat Ball Throws
• Finish: 150m run (both teammates run together)
