We operate at stress levels that our ancestors never dreamed of. As our world shifts to something better, we need to shift too. How to lose some stress and clear a path through your busy, dizzy brain so that you might connect to your higher self, your inner intuitive?
In class, weʼll explore automatic and free flow writing as a place to begin, as well as guided drawing which loosens the body, then on to intuitive drawing. We will explore drawing, writing and movement to help open you to an experience, not a result.
Weʼre not learning a new technique to decide if weʼre skilled… weʼre opening doors to our true self, discovering that yes, there is someone home and that person has a lot to tell us. Youʼll be excited to find that thereʼs not an inner critic inside but a cheerleader, a guru and connecting with that aspect of yourself is like a warm hug that doesnʼt quit.
Spontaneous, illogical, fun self- exploration. The goal with this class is to open students to their higher wisdom, intuitive guru within. To get to that place, weʼve got to release stress, slow down and slide from our busy, dizzy brains down into the heart and the gut.
Instructor provides drawing supplies, white paper table covers (also a drawing surface for part of our work), guidance in expression as well as meditation. Bring your favorite journal from your collection to hold your work or purchase one from the gift shop.
Iʼm bringing some healing sound music also, maybe just playing my recordings.
