Outside Beyond the Lens Premier Viewing

Horn Photo and Fresno City College Photography Department invite you to the exclusive Season 5 premier of the Emmy Award Winning PBS travel and photography series, Outside Beyond the Lens on February 5th. Doors open at 6, and the show will start at 7!

This two-episode kick-off to Season 5 features cinematographers Jeff Aiello, Zack Allen, and David Boomer as they follow photographer Ryan Watamura into the Sidewinder, a low-level training route flown by high-performance fighter jets in our own Sierra Nevada and deserts of Southern California.

The journey into the Sidewinder will also feature Fresno's own 144th Fighter Wing and the amazing F-15C fighter jet as our local Air National Guard pilots turn and burn in deep canyons, all captured by a band of die-hard aviation photographers in search of the perfect shot.

After the show, Jeff, Zack, Dave, Ryan and pilots from the 144th will do a Q&A session to reveal photography tips and behind-the-scenes moments from this epic "Jets in the Wild" shoot. Brand reps from Sony and Nikon will also be at the event! You'll be able to see some of the camera gear used on the show.

Outside Beyond the Lens airs Tuesday nights at 7:30p on Valley PBS!
