About this Event

Going out as queer people has never been just about going out, it's about socialising, exploring sexuality, building connection, idea sharing, skills sharing, and pushing creative boundaries, all whilst having the dancefloor in common. London has long produced captivating queer histories, specifically within the spectacle of queer nightlife. The city often used temporary and community spaces as its chosen sites for parties, protests, performance art, poetry, punk, hook-ups, and most importantly - good music!

Join us for a night dedicated to exploring London’s contemporary, often hidden queer nightlife histories, and begin to understand the essence of the spaces, people and politics that paved the way for London’s queer scene as it exists today. We will have guest speakers, and an introduction by Grace Goslin a queer DJ, culture journalist and MA Queer History student currently finishing her research on the crossover between London-centric queer nightlife, and activism.
