Outlook 2023 with the Financial Markets Authority (FMA)

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) is in a stage of growth, with the regulation of financial services ever-evolving and developing in 2023 and beyond.

Ensure your organisation stays proactive and attends an in-depth breakfast session with the FMA on Wednesday 25 January 2023 at the Cordis Auckland, with the opportunity to ask questions, receive future-focused insights and network with the sector while you're fresh in the new year.

FMA's Chief Executive Samantha Barrass, Director of Banking and Insurance Conduct Clare Bolingford and Director Investment Management and Acting Director, Capital Markets Paul Gregory will give an update on the expansion of the FMA’s mandate, the results of their 2022 work and their priorities for 2023.

 Important FMA priorities in 2022 included financial advice licensing, climate related disclosures, cyber resilience, KiwiSaver value for money and the wholesale investing sector.
