▪️Outlander (II): Culross and 3 Scottish Castles Day Trip
A-MUST-DO for all Outlander fans and those who admire the sheer beauty of Scotland and its colourful history and culture historic castles. This fantastic tour offers an extraordinary experience to visit Scottish Castles, some of which featured in Outlander TV Series. Visiting the castles in this itinerary are currently free of charge!

▪️Ticket £45 and it includes:
- A return journey and transportation by a luxury coach with AC, TV screens and toilet
- Fully guided tour with a friendly local guide, hiking/walking and free time for sightseeing, shopping and visiting attractions
▪️Places we explore:
- Culross and the Palace of Culross: Take a stroll through the beautiful Royal Burgh of Culross and the majestic Palace of Culross, a 16th century merchant's house filmed in Outlander in a number of scenes in Season 1 and 2. Culross also acts as the fictional village of Cranesmuir.
- Callendar House: Visit a 14th Century outstanding and gorgeous mansion set within the grounds of Callendar Park. It was filmed in Outlander as the Duke of Sandringham’s home in episode 2.11 “Vengeance is Mine”.
- Aberdour Castle: Visit arguably one of the oldest standing stone historic castles in Scotland, dating back to 1200.
Standing Stones: A chance to see historic Scottish Standing Stones for a photo opportunity like Jamie and Claire!
- Dumferline: Visit Dunfermline, a Royal Burgh that was once the Capital of Scotland with plenty of time to visit Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, Pittencrieff Park, Abbot House and more.

▪️About the Tour
Step back in time on this fantastic journey into 18th-century Scotland, as we explore some of the most iconic Outlander filming locations, along with historic castles, mansion houses, and colorful towns across Central and East Scotland. This unforgettable tour includes: 1) Callendar House – A stunning 14th-century mansion set in the beautiful grounds of Callendar Park. In Outlander, it appears as the home of the Duke of Sandringham and features in one of the most memorable scenes from Season 2, Episode 11: “Vengeance is Mine.” 2) Culross – A perfectly preserved Royal Burgh and filming location for several scenes in Seasons 1 and 2. Wander through the cobbled streets, visit the Culross Palace (a 16th-century merchant’s house), and explore this atmospheric town, which doubled as Cranesmuir in the series. 3) Aberdour Castle – One of the oldest surviving stone castles in Scotland, dating back to the 12th century. In Outlander, it served as the Abbey Ste. Anne de Beaupré, where Jamie recovers from his brutal encounter with Black Jack Randall. 4) Dunfermline – Once the capital of Scotland and now a Royal Burgh, Dunfermline is rich in history. You’ll have time to explore landmarks like Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, Pittencrieff Park, Abbot House, and more. This tour is a dream come true for Outlander fans and lovers of Scottish history alike, packed with beautiful castles, ancient churches, charming towns, and legendary filming locations. There will be time for a lunch break in restaurants, however, you can also bring your own packed lunch. Bring with you lots of smiles, a camera, warm clothes, proper walking / hiking shoes, an ID, a bottle of water and snacks. We will also have tea/coffee and toilet breaks throughout the journey.

- Tickets are very limited and available based on first come, first served.
- Tickets are non-refundable if you miss the tour for any reason.
- If you can no longer attend, you may sell your ticket to others, however, you must notify International Student Tours in advance for check in purposes.
- You will receive a reminder email with details and updates a few days prior to departure.
- Our tours are open to everyone aged 18 and over, including adult students, professionals, visitors, and tourists. If you wish to book tickets for minors, you must contact us in advance.
