Great opportunity for young people to have a voice in their wider community and engage in a wide range of activities, stalls and engagement.
About this Event

An interactive consultation session will take place between 12pm and 1pm. This is a great chance for children and young people to have a voice in their wider community, inform Councillors which activities they would like to fund in the area and have discussions about issues that affect young people.

There will be a wide range of stalls and activities for young people to participate in between 1pm & 4pm including:

  • Fire Truck & Stall Engagement with West Yorkshire Fire Service
  • Rugby Activities with Leeds Rhinos Foundation & Mascot, Ronnie the Rhino
  • Football Premier League Kicks Activities with Leeds United Foundation & Mascot, Snow Leopard
  • Zorbing Activities & Stall Engagement with Leeds Youth Services, Leeds City Council
  • Photobooth & Stall Engagement with Getaway Girls
  • Nutritionist Workshop with Leeds Rhinos Foundation
  • Themed Crafts (Space, Dinosaurs, Fairy's, Butterflies, Halloween, and Bracelet, Keyring & Stress Ball Making) with Pop-up Pop-in
  • Hair Braiding with Pop-up Pop-in
  • Biscuit making with Pop-up Pop-in
  • Drama Workshops with Leeds Heritage Theatres (there limited workshop places available, early attendance to register on the day is advised to avoid disappointment)
  • Stall Engagement with West Yorkshire Police
  • Stall Engagement with Temple Newsam Learning Partnership
  • Stall Engagement with Employment & Skills, Leeds City Council
  • Stall Engagement with Safer Stronger Communities, Leeds City Council
  • Stall Engagement with Voice & Influence, Leeds City Council

Lunch is provided for all young people. A free raffle prize draw will take place providing an opportunity to win Leeds United Game Tickets and Leeds Rhino World Cup Tickets. This will be drawn by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Leeds at 3.30pm.

There are limited places available for this event and you must register in advance to attend. We recommend you book your place early to avoid disappointment.

All young people are required to report for registration between 11:20am and 11:50am for admittance to the event on the day.
