Enjoy Sunday Morning Worship all summer long under a beautiful “cathedral of trees,” and celebrate a season of beauty, welcome, and thanksgiving for the gift of the land and trees that hold us as we gather.
There will be no 9 am Learning Hour Forums or Activity Time during outdoor worship season. Chairs will be set up in the lower grass area as well as in the upper parking lot/mezzanine area (please allow those with mobility issues to have first priority seating in the upper parking lot area). You are also welcome to bring your own chairs. A staffed nursery will not be available, however, there will be various outdoor play areas adjacent to the worship area for children. Be aware that the morning temperatures can fluctuate as well as the shaded area, so dress accordingly with layers, and use sunscreen and/or head protection if needed. Hospitality & Fellowship coffee & treats immediately following worship in the parking lot. A recording of the sermon will be posted on Sunday afternoon here on Facebook.
In the event of inclement weather, worship will be moved inside to the sanctuary. An email notification will be sent out and a notice posted on the Good Shepherd website by 8 am Sunday morning.
