Get ready for Worship Outdoors!The first Sunday of September, the 7th, also the first day of the Season of Creation, we will gather for worship outside in the courtyard – to the west side of the church – at 10:00 a.m. to be in the sanctuary of the pine trees. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
Following worship, we’ll picnic together, so bring a dish to share. Do you need ideas? Go with the classics: fried chicken, potato salad, watermelon, brownies. Or, step out into the healthy realm: green salad, hummus with veggies, fruit salad, quinoa salad (just don’t make me eat it!). Or, remember last minute that we’re having this picnic: a bag of chips, a bunch of bananas, a tray of cookies.
Just remember, we’ll have vanilla ice cream with all kinds of sundae toppings!
