About this Event

Frustrated when your photos never do the real thing justice? Join wildlife conservation photographer Deirdre Rosenberg for an easy-to-understand presentation on photography basics, the art of nature photography, and some pointers on capturing compelling wildlife photographs. There will be a Q&A at the end of the presentation, then we’ll head to the Animas River Trail for a hands-on nature photography workshop. All are welcome!

Gear List for Workshop: Camera with a lens or what you plan to make photos with. Memory card. A strap to keep your camera safe. Shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Comfortable, loose clothing that can get dirty or wet. All photography gear is welcome, but because this is an intro workshop, we’ll be focusing on the basics with gear and composition. RSVP recommended.

Discover more hands-on clinics at this year's Women Outside Adventure Forum.

Brought to you by: Backcountry Experience, Osprey, Outdoor Research, Alpine Bank, Durango Magazine, Tailwind Nutrition, Alpacka Raft, Four Corners Guides, Bear Balm, TripOutside.com, Crow's Closet, and the Ewing School.
