Come watch a movie destined to make you laugh. In this sequel to the 2001 hit, Shrek travels with his princess bride Fiona to meet the in-laws, who are unaware their daughter has turned into the same kind of green ogre as her husband. PG. Release date 2004. Movie starts at dark (approx 8:15pm). Don't forget to bring blanket or chairs for outdoor seating , snacks to enjoy while watching the movie. Entire event is FREE, including the popcorn! Come early for the Welcome to Fall Event from 5-8pm.
Note: Welcome to Fall Event activities start closing down at 730pm as darkness settles over the meadow & to allow time to get settled in for movie. Movie starts at dark approx 815pm.
Meet in Big Meadows. Meeting location notes:Highbanks Metro Park-Big Meadows Picnic Area. This meeting location is located near the back of the park area in the back of the park. After you enter the park, take the main road down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, a sign will be on the right side saying "Big Meadows picnic area". After the sign, take the ROAD on the LEFT. Park in the first lot on the left. Meet near the restrooms/bulletin board/playground area.
