About this Event
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a more sustainable approach to managing pests that prioritizes both human and environmental health. This is accomplished by relying on a combination of tools and techniques with prevention at the forefront of every effort.
This training will include an introduction to IPM, an overview of common landscape pests and beneficials, as well as a scouting activity in our demonstration gardens.
To qualify for certification, participants must score at least 75% on the post-test.
Certified participants will be added to a database that may be shared with interested clientele.

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $30.00 per person (excluding additional Eventbrite fees), free for verified Sarasota County employees
Lunch: This program includes time for lunch. If you would like to receive a boxed lunch, please purchase an additional meal ticket.
Advance registration is required. You may buy your tickets online or register to pay at the door. Only exact cash (no change available) or checks will be allowed at the door.
