Outdoor Forest and Nature Fun / Amusement en plein air

Participants are asked to park in the lot at 2 MacNeil Court and look towards the hill for your facilitator! Program itself will take place across MacNeil court in Hazeldean Woods!

In this workshop, the child and their grownup will work together to explore the land by using the invitations of play prepared by our EarlyON facilitators. Emergent play-based and interest led-learning in a forested space can look like so many things – active and still, loud and quiet, sometimes risky and very messy. Be prepared to get dirty and engage in risky play.

Our time together will end with a short storytelling and circle time. Come discover, question and explore with us.

Les participants sont priés de se garer sur le parking situé au 2 MacNeil Court et de chercher leur animateur en regardant vers la colline ! Le programme se déroulera de l’autre côté de MacNeil Court, dans les bois de Hazeldean !

Au cours de cet atelier, l’enfant et son accompagnateur travailleront ensemble pour explorer les lieux en suivant les propositions de jeu préparées par nos animateurs ON y va. L’apprentissage émergent, basé sur le jeu et guidé par les centres d’intérêt, dans un espace boisé peut prendre de nombreuses formes : actif ou calme, bruyant ou silencieux, parfois risqué et très désordonné. Préparez-vous à vous salir et à vous lancer dans des jeux comportant une part de risque.

Notre moment ensemble se terminera par un court moment de conte et un cercle. Venez découvrir, questionner et explorer avec nous.
