Outdoor Experiences: Mothing Night

As darkness falls, venture into the hidden world of moths during a special evening event in the Allen Senior Recreation Center Garden. In partnership with the Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalists, families can enjoy educational exhibits and hands-on children's activities before observing moths and other nocturnal insects attracted to specially lit viewing stations. Learn about the important role these nighttime pollinators play in our ecosystem while experiencing the beauty of nature after sunset.
