OUR AWESOME PANEL:
- 🌱KRIS BUTCHER is the Superintendent of Manassas National Battlefield Park and its’ 5,000 acres, 21 buildings, 44 miles of trails, and 35 staff who welcome 650,000 visitors annually. His twenty years of federal service, working in four federal agencies, have been spent connecting people to resources. In his short time at Manassas, he has overseen the installation of several new exhibits, including the fully functioning Andrew Redman Blacksmith Shop, numerous accessibility upgrades across the park, and co-hosted the 2024 North American Police Equestrian Council. Kris’s passion is seeing visitors fall in love with their National Parks.
- 🌱BILL WRIGHT is a "Protect Our National Parks" activist living in Prince William County. Bill is currently part of a grassroots coaltion to protect the Manassas National Park from data center development. Following his career in the US Navy, Bill worked for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for more than a decade. Upon retiring.
