OUT OF FRAME - Cork's Monthly Film Talk - Round 9: The Producer

Out Of Frame is a monthly Film Talk upstairs in the Roundy. Every month we invite filmmakers to present their work before participating in a discussion where we learn more about their background and specific roles, and get a unique insight into the stories behind their films.

ROUND 9 – “The Producer”

Sun, 30th June, Doors 7pm, upstairs in the Roundy

The brain behind every film production is the PRODUCER. Dedicated to organisation and communication, they hold the show together from the first phase of conceptualisation till the very end, post-production. They oversee budget, coordinate talent and assemble crew.

In our 9th Round of Out of Frame we will talk in detail about the role and specific responsibilities of the producer, the different fields producers work in and their experience with funding schemes, production companies, diverse projects and representation in festivals.
