Out of Focus is a queer family archive and a statement of love to the community of donors and viewers who participate in the collection.

Bio family. Chosen family. Ball family. This archive puts us in focus and at the forefront of the frame.

Join us for the launch of Out of Focus. Preserving and showcasing all the glorious ways the queer community builds family.

Our goal is to preserve and showcase home movies, photographs, and audio by queer families to create platforms for queer content, allowing our homes, families, and love to be more visible and accessible.

On July 24 we will gather for an outdoor celebration in South Shore. All registered guests will be emailed the location. While the sun sets, initial footage shared by our first Out of Focus families will be screened.

Kids welcome. Let us know how many and ages so we can have age appropriate activities.
