Mysterious going-ons like a teacup scooting around a table on its own or an army of ordinary objects that glide across the stage. Dancers appear mid-air, falling. A black umbrella stalks a dancer around the stage. What is going on here? You'll be full of questions, curious and on the edge of your seat with Bygones' nightmarish surrealism.
Creators Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond have travelled the world performing in Kidd Pivot’s most recent works and are at the forefront of new west coast dance theatre.
Combining hyper-detailed choreography, ghostly architecture, puppeteering and illusions, Bygones premiered at Bulgaria’s One Festival, will embark on its third European tour, and was co-commissioned by Dance Victoria through the Chrystal Dance Fund.
