Who We Are

Our Temenos is a women-led, worker-owned ecological landscaping company based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, serving all five boroughs. We specialize in:

• Design, installation, and maintenance
• Public land stewardship
• Ecologically functional green infrastructure, including street tree planting, stormwater management, invasive removal, and expert softscape installation

We’ve proudly partnered with organizations like NYC DEP, NYC Parks and Recreation, the Laundromat Project, Queens Library, and Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park.

Our Vision: Building a green infrastructure business for the future by mentoring diverse environmental and horticultural professionals, supporting their growth as career-level experts in a crucial industry.

Why Is This a Ticketed Event?

This launch party is also a fundraiser for ARTEMIS! In addition to purchasing your ticket you can also make a tax-deductible donation supporting our internship program and expand access to free and low cost ecology and sustainability programming.

About Artemis:
Launching in Spring 2025, Artemis is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates out of the Our Temenos studio after hours.

Artemis is committed to building ecological literacy and fostering a more resilient community in the face of climate disaster. Our free and sliding scale programs center justice, reciprocity and skill building for a livable future.

With forecasted reductions in funding for environmental initiatives, we are determined to sustain programs that integrate ecological awareness with creative, accessible frameworks. This event is our way of introducing offerings, sharing our new space, and inviting collaboration to tackle today’s most pressing challenges.
