An evening of conversation, support, and story-gathering
at YWCA Walla Walla
Join us at a come-and-go reception with light refreshments, and engage in thoughtful conversations about healthy relationships.
YWCA will partner with Sarah Magill of TheReelSarah.com, a domestic violence survivor who contributed to Believe Beyond: Discover the Power of Unwavering Belief, a collection of inspiring women’s stories.
“I didn’t go through hell, learn all these lessons, just so I could be quiet and keep to myself,” said Sarah. “I hope someone reads my story and thinks, if she can do it, I can do it.”
Survivors attending Our Stories, Our Strength are invited to share their stories in whatever way feels most comfortable—whether anonymously, in writing, or through audio or video recording. YWCA Advocates will be on hand to offer support.
