Founded in 1870, Flagstaff has a fascinating past. Historian Kevin Schindler will cover memorable characters and events in this northern Arizona city, from Theodore Roosevelt, Charles Lindbergh, and Navajo code talkers, to Apollo astronaut training and the successful search for a planet. Schindler's presentation will be based on the book he co-authored, "Historic Tales of Flagstaff," which will be available for sale after the program.Registration is not required; free event.
