Presented in collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. United to enhance the connection between science, technology, and the arts.
From the blissful calm of Mendelssohn’s “The Hebrides” to the crashing waves of Debussy’s “La Mer,” the magnificence of our ocean has served as a muse for composers since music began. Join us for a stunning event that celebrates the majesty of the sea and why it should be treasured and protected for future generations.
WHOI scientists will give talks before each performance. On June 15, scientists from the Sea Grant Program will round out Cape Cod Coastal Resilience Week with stories of local coastal vulnerability, strength and resilience. On June 16, members of the Reef Solutions Team will discuss innovative techniques being used to save corals in crisis.
