Join our local astronomer as he shares this educational program that explores the mysteries of our Moon. You will earn about the Moon's impact on Earth's tides, and its different phases, from the new moon to the full moon. Then, discover the history and science behind the craters on the Moon's surface and explore the various theories about how they formed. Delve into the Apollo landings, where you will learn about the missions, the astronauts who took part, and the scientific discoveries that were made. Finally, dream with him as he discusses the possibility of establishing future colonies on the Moon. Meet at the Nature Center for this program.
