If this group of Grade 9s intend to earn back their school disco privileges, they first need to pass a much-needed lesson on responsibility.Enter Larry the Egg.
Larry is an everyday, normal, maybe-double-yolker-if-you're-lucky egg like every other egg to come out of a chicken's butt.
Except, there's something extra special about Larry that makes him more than 'just an egg' to these kids, and quickly this project turns from total disinterest to full-on fixation as each student explores their unique understanding of what it means to care for another.
Our Egg Named Larry is a comedic new play exploring human connection, attachment and experience from the voices and minds of young people.
