Our Doors Are Open! Colorado- Meet Evergreen!

Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of Evergreen Home Loans in Montrose, CO on Thursday, May 28th from 3:30–6:00 PM. This special afternoon will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony, refreshments, and a raffle basket giveaway as we proudly introduce ourselves to the community. We’re excited to open our doors and begin building lasting relationships in Montrose.

We’re also thrilled to introduce our loan officer, Wil Harmsen. With over 25 years of experience, Wil brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping clients navigate even the most complex loan scenarios. He especially enjoys assisting first-time homebuyers, taking the time to clearly explain each step and make the process feel approachable and empowering. Wil is committed to treating every customer as if he were in their place—offering guidance, transparency, and genuine care.

Outside of work, Wil’s world revolves around family. He and his wife Amy have three daughters (ages 12, 14, and 16), and together they travel across the country for horse reining events where his daughters compete. Whether it’s time spent on the road in their Sprinter van, capturing photos along the way, or enjoying fly fishing adventures, Wil values the connection that comes from shared experiences. He also loves mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the mountains of the western states and the Southwest desert. His favorite place to unwind is their cabin in the Little Cimarron—his true “happy place.”

At the core of Wil’s work is his “why”: helping and advising others. He takes pride in teaching, simplifying complex topics, and making the home financing journey a positive experience for every client he serves.
