Our Creative Imagination: Where AI Can Never Go
About this Event
Where does our creativity come from? What inspires it and what works against it? How can we stimulate it, and then manage it for projects?
And can AI do what I can do? Can it replace me as creative professional?
To answer that, this workshop will help us to understand the difference between something that is created by us, by the human psyche, versus something created by AI.
In this workshop you’ll learn an inspiring, but also very practical way to understand how creativity operates in us. You’ll learn:
How our archetypal psyche drives creative energy and also helps regulate it.
How to activate creativity and then how to harness it to bring inspired projects to completion.
CG Jung revolutionized our understanding of the drive to create and showed how it works, down to the deepest levels of our mind and body. As certified Jungian Analyst and psychotherapist with nearly 30 years helping people find new energy and creative inspiration, Nancy is in the unique position to translate Jung’s theories into practical reality.
She discovered that his profound insights actually provide a guidebook for working with the vast energy and potential of our creative psyche. And built this knowledge into methods that she will share in her beautiful presentation.
Also, her background as bio-med researcher grounds all of her teaching in Nature: how do our body and brain and psyche all work together? She shows how the laws of Nature and biological systems also govern our creativity, how beautiful and inspiring that relationship is, and how understanding Nature helps us in our creative processes.
What people say about this workshop:
“Thank you so much for this beautiful offering. I loved the images and the flow of the talk. It was so rich and I feel encouraged to work with my own process”
B.R.
"I was so lucky to join Nancy's seminar right at a moment when I felt somehow disconnected from my writing. She builds a rich and practical picture of how one can enter a relationship with the creative unconscious, how to tend to it and cultivate its many gifts.
…from insight I went straight to practice, armed with the tools to do the hard work”
E. Trierveiler, Creative Director & Chief Writer
“The whole workshop is still echoing in my mind… it is always helpful to put words to a process that is hard to grasp…”
Stephan Metzner, Director of Photography, Camerman, Editor
“I very much enjoyed the workshop! I feel at home in the territory of creativity, and it was so good to have a new set of eyes on the process …how it is fed by the unconscious psyche. … thank you for putting this out into the world – I will certainly attend part 2!”
