Newspapers contract or go under altogether; radio stations are merging into conglomerates; mis and dis-information are on the rise. There is cause for concern as to the validity of our news. There is also an opportunity for citizens to learn about new media - how they are constructed and operated and - most important - how we can evaluate and use them.

You can submit questions in advance to [email protected]; deadline is September 6th. The questions will be used by the event moderators to guide the discussion. Additional questions will be taken in person as time allows.
