This is bigger than one neighborhood. This is about every child, every family, every pedestrian, and every person who deserves to make it home safely.
On August 31st at 5:30 PM, the Forever 12 Louis IV Movement will once again stand before the Avondale Mayor and City Council to advocate for a controlled crosswalk between Cantada Ranch and Del Rio at 121st Lane and Lower Buckeye.
This is an important opportunity for our community to come together, voice our concerns, and show our city leaders that SAFETY MATTERS.
We are asking our community to STAND WITH US.
� Come to the City Council meeting.
� Wear BLUE in support.
� Help us show our city leaders that community voices matter.
� Want to speak? Please arrive by 5:00 PM and look for Barney Hernandez, Spokesman for Forever 12, or send me a DM beforehand.
Your presence matters. Your voice matters. Our safety matters.
We should not have to wait for another tragedy before safety becomes a priority. When residents are telling leaders where people are already crossing and where safety improvements are needed, those voices deserve to be heard and taken seriously.
Forever 12 will continue to advocate. We will continue to show up. We will continue to speak up. And we will continue pushing for meaningful change.
Our mission goes beyond one crosswalk and one neighborhood. We are working toward safer streets, safer crossings, better lighting, and stronger communities for EVERYONE.
