About this Event
Join us at the Dallas Museum of Art for the community premiere of the docuseries , airing this January on the award-winning PBS program .
Dallas, 2019 is a five-week observation of the Texas city and its people, and echoes the modern complexities facing cities across America.
Join filmmakers and film participants for a screening of selected episodes followed by a conversation led by author and journalist Casey Gerald. Designed to collectively discover what Dallas most needs to thrive, this event will explore how our individual stories shape our communities and invite audiences to reflect on these questions: How do you shape Dallas? How does Dallas shape you?
Doors will open at 12:30pm–please allow time to arrive and to be seated by 1:00pm. The program will begin promptly at 1:00pm.

A reception will follow, and light refreshments will be served.
Accessibility Note: ASL interpreters will be present during the panel discussion, and the film will be open captioned. The Horchow auditorium has areas designated as accessible seating and will provide hearing devices available for guests who need them. You can read more information about accessibility at the DMA.
Public Garage Access: The DMA uses an automated garage parking system. Access to the DMA’s underground parking garage is located off North St. Paul Street (one way, south). You can also access the underground parking garage from Harwood Street (one way, south). Additional driving directions to the underground parking garage.
Handicap-access parking spaces are located on Levels P1, P2, and P3 of the Museum’s parking garage.
Alternative Parking: In the event the DMA Garage is full, please review the map of nearby surface lots and garages that have reserved parking for Museum visitors. In addition to these locations, other parking exists throughout the downtown area. For alternative parking options, visit the Dallas Arts District website.
