St. George Greek Orthodox Church is excited to host the sixth “Our Big Fat Greek Golf Tournament” on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Querbes Golf Course in Shreveport. There will be plenty of delicious Greek food including Gyro sandwiches, sausage, meatballs, spanakopita (spinach pies) and pastries. And drinks to wash it all down including Greek or domestic beer, soft drinks, water and Ouzo!
Registration begins at 7:15 am and shotgun start is at 8:00 am at the newly revamped Querbes Golf Course, located at 3500 Beverly Place in Shreveport, Louisiana. This year, Querbes is celebrating its 100th year!
St. George has been a part of Shreveport-Bossier community for over 100 years. Proceeds benefit the St. George Building Fund to upgrade our building’s handicap accessibility and support our local charities.
