Lace Mill Presents: OTTO KENTROL (Modern Harmonic Records)
+ WARREN - VER STRAETEN 1/2 QUARTET (gtr/vocals)
The 3 musicians featured are all part of the Creative Improvisers Orchestra, as part of the Creative Music School. In fact, all three were students there and have been closely involved for several decades.
Otto Kentrol (AKA Bill Ylitalo), will be bringing along his sax and flutes, and I'm sure a smattering of tapes to sample and sing over.
In 2022, Modern Harmonic Records reissued the brain-busting 2LP set of his early 80's releases, making them widely available for the first time.

Rick Warren, versatile and solid guitar slinger, has played in a wonderful duo with CIO vocalist, Charles Ver Straeten, for several years now (not to mention countless other great groups). All 3 will come together at the end for a special collaboration!
