In this warm, interactive workshop led by Brittany Buzzell, Owner of Sacred Doula and Dr. Jack Hull, Prenatal Chiropractor and owner of Ottawa ChiroHouse, you’ll learn how to prepare, lean into your body’s natural physiology, and build trust in the process through pregnancy and labour, with practical tools to support your birth experience.

What you will learn:

• An understanding of physiological birth: what’s actually happening in your body and why it matters
• Your nervous system’s role in pregnancy and birth — how your overall state of stress or safety shapes adaptation during pregnancy, influences labour progression, and supports your baby’s early regulation and transition
• The ability to trust your body’s natural rhythms and work with your labor instead of against it
• Practical, effective coping mechanisms for labor—including movement, breath, positioning, and mindset
• Comfort measures & positioning — practical tools to create more ease, support progression, and work with your body during labour
• A clear, grounded understanding of your birth options, including common interventions, their purpose, and when they may be offered
• Tools to make informed, confident decisions in the moment: without fear or pressure
• Language and confidence to advocate for yourself and communicate your choices with your care team
• A sense of calm, connection, and readiness as you prepare to meet your baby
