Ottawa CSPA-PIC October General Meeting

Ottawa CSPA-PIC meetings are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month during the regular school year. We do not hold meetings in December or June, and our March meeting is dedicated exclusively to School Councils.

Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are offered in a hybrid format (in-person and Google Meet). We strongly encourage CSPA Representatives to attend each meeting live, either in person or virtually. As your School Council’s CSPA Representative, you are the voice of your school community at these meetings. Your participation matters — it is an important opportunity to bring forward your school community’s questions, perspectives, and priorities, and to hear directly from Board staff, Trustees, and other school communities across the city.

This year, meetings will be held at a variety of locations throughout the city, including four meetings at the Board Office, with our November meeting at St. Rita School and our April meeting at Convent Glen Catholic School. Our January meeting will be held virtually. Be sure to check the location listed for each meeting when registering.

All OCSB parents and caregivers are welcome to attend CSPA-PIC meetings. You do not need to be a CSPA Representative to attend, listen, ask questions, or participate in the discussion. However, when a vote is required, only elected CSPA Representatives are eligible to vote on behalf of their School Council.
