Join us Saturday, September 21st (and every 1st and 3rd Saturday!) for our next Ottawa Contra! We’d love to see you at our dance. All are welcome!This week we will dance to the music of Les Trois Patates from Montreal! Calling for us will be Ottawa's own Catherine Burns.
Doors open: 7:00pm
Contra lesson: 7:30 - 8 PM - highly recommended!
Contra Dance: 8 PM - 11 PM
WHAT TO BRING: a water bottle and indoor shoes with clean, non-marking soft soles (to protect our wooden floor). Masks are optional.
We dance using the role terms “Larks and Robins”. See ottawacontra.ca/schedule for more.
We are a volunteer-run community organisation. Please help tidy the hall at the end of the night. Contact an organiser (pink buttons) at the dance to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
Tickets are available at the door. We have a sliding scale so you can choose your price. We accept cash, or e-transfer to [email protected].
• $10 minimum
• $15 regular price
• $20 helps cover our costs
• $25+ helps sustain our dances
• Children: no minimum price
Dances are held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.
