Ostückenberg versucht nicht, diese Welt zu verbessern. Er bildet sie ab – so ehrlich, dass es wehtut.

Seine Lieder sind moralisch, ohne zu moralisieren. Emotional, indem sie die Emotionen unbenannt lassen. Ebenso persönlich wie allgemeingültig. Bei aller stilistischen Vielfalt zwischen Pop, Indie und Hip-Hop ist das die Konstante in seinem Schaffen – auch auf seiner neuesten EP "Hier war ich schon mal, Teil 2“. Dass emotionale Tiefe mit offensichtlicher Freude am Musizieren eine energetische Mischung bilden kann, stellt der Leipziger Musiker und Produzent gemeinsam mit seiner Band live unter Beweis.

Without moralizing his songs show morality. They are emotional by leaving the emotions unnamed. They are personal as well as universal. While his musical style varies a lot between pop, indie or hip hop, this is the connecting element throughout his songs.
