On our "No 4K classes" day, Oshkosh Early Learning families can join us in Peace Christian Preschool's gym to free-play and rotate through 10 block stations.
This is an "open house" style event. Drop in anytime between 10-2. Families will learn about the four stages of block play, what a play partner does, as well as how blocks are tools for learning math and science, new words and pre-reading skills, social skills and physical skills.
Caregivers and youth will be encouraged to play together, helping build their relationships and helping them learn new skills. Familes will be sent home with a booklet that explains how they can continue to build these STEM-related skills at home.
